Dr. Zaneta Chapman, ASA
Dr. Zaneta Chapman, ASA is an Associate Professor of Actuarial Science and Actuarial Science and Risk Management consultant. She has over 14 years of experience teaching courses in mathematics, actuarial science and statistics including advanced statistical modeling at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has also taught prep courses for a few of the Society of Actuaries exams at Arcadia University and Temple University.
Dr. Chapman has expertise in data science and actuarial modeling and has a passion for the material and brings this enthusiasm into each actuarial course that she teaches. She has passed all the SOA associate level actuarial exams and received an award for obtaining the highest score on one of them. She developed techniques for solving actuarial level problems with ease and shares these techniques with her students. Her approach and teaching philosophy has proven successful as shown by her students’ exemplary pass rates.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Chapman has spent the last 15 years doing research in data analytics and actuarial science. She has published several papers in Risk Management and Insurance, Econometrics and Predictive Modeling. She has also spoken at several conferences both domestically and internationally.
